Maestro Paul Nadler is an exciting and highly respected symphonic and operatic conductor whose career has taken him to more than 50 cities throughout the United States and Canada, in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Since his Metropolitan Opera debut in 1989, he has led the company in over 60 performances, featuring such stars as Placido Domingo, Renee Fleming, Ben Heppner, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Karita Mattila, Aprile Millo, Anna Netrebko, Luciano Pavarotti, Matthew Polenzani, Louis Quilico, and Bryn Terfel. His repertoire at the Metropolitan Opera includes Die Zauberflöte, Fidelio, Rigoletto, Aida, Don Carlo, La Traviata, Un Ballo in Maschera, Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Tannhäuser, Andrea Chénier, Romeo et Juliette, Carmen, Eugene Onegin, and Stravinsky's triple bill Le Sacre du Printemps/Le Rossignol/Oedipus Rex.

Recently Maestro Nadler conducted the Bucharest Philharmonic in concerts which included Schumann's Third Symphony (Rhenish)and the world premiere of Livia Teodorescu-Ciocanea's Piano Concerto Lebenskraft. Other recent appearances  include Ariadne auf Naxos with International Vocal Arts Institute in Tel Aviv, as well as opening the 2011/2012 season of Opera Montreal
with acclaimed performances of Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro. He also conducted a Gala Concert in sooperation with I Sing Beijing, with the Orchestra of the National Centre for the Performing Arts.

This summer Maestro Paul Nadler conducts Jake Heggie's Three Decembers with the Music and Vocal Arts Festival in Virginia, Les Dialogues des Carmelites with IVAI in Tel Aviv, and Les Mamelles de Tiresias with Canadian Vocal Arts in Montreal, and to Beijing for concerts with I Sing Beijing. He returns to the Met this season for productions of Otello and Don Carlo and also conducts a Gala Concert with l'Orchestre Metropolitain de Montreal. His many fans in Southwest Florida who were so enthusiastic about Maestro Nadler's performances of Faust with Opera Naples last February will be delighted to know he is conducting in Naples this December - Tosca, in the first staged production of the new cooperation between Opera Naples and the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra.

Maestro Paul Nadler's operatic credits include performances with the opera companies of Indianapolis, Utah, Minnesota, Syracuse, Orlando, and the Florentine and Glimmerglass Operas. Internationally he has conducted the Hong Kong Opera as well as had operatic engagements in Montreal, Calgary and Victoria (Canada), Bucharest (Romania), and Plovdiv, Varna, and Russe
(Bulgaria). In 2002 Paul Nadler conducted at the Kennedy Center Awards ceremony in honor of his colleague James Levine.

Maestro Nadler is Conductor Emeritus of the Southwest Florida Symphony Orchestra as well as Principal
Guest Conductor of the Filarmonica de Stat "Moldova" Iasi (Romania). Recent symphonic highlights were appearances with the Orquestra de Navarra (Spain), the Augsburg Symphony (Germany), Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana (Italy), Victoria Symphony and Calgary Philharmonic (Canada), and the Romanian National Radio Orchestra.  He has also led the Grant Park (Chicago) Music Festival Orchestra, the New World Symphony, the Chautauqua Symphony, the Timisoara and Brasov Symphonies (Romania), the Jerusalem Symphony, and Orchestra Carlos Chavez (Mexico).

Maestro Paul Nadler founded the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, where he was Music Director and Conductor for eight seasons. He is Co-Founder and Music Director of the International Vocal Arts Institute, currently with annual programs in Blacksburg, Virginia; Tel Aviv, Israel; and Montreal, Canada; and which has also held programs in Mexico, Puerto Rico, Japan, and China.
